On July 15, at the Midsummer Vilnius festival in the Grand Courtyard of the Palace of the Grand Dukes, one of the most exciting and highly anticipated young-generation artists in Lithuania, Free Finga, will take the stage. This will be his only performance in Vilnius this summer, dedicated to a special audience of music lovers gathered to experience something extraordinary and unique.

For this 10th-anniversary celebration of the festival, Free Finga will reveal a new artistic persona. Unique arrangements are being created exclusively for this evening, and the artist will share more details about the musicians and other surprises as the concert approaches.

Free Finga’s world is filled with emotions, new sensations, and ever-evolving sounds that leave a lasting imprint on every listener. His time living in Berlin greatly influenced his music, immersing him in the club scene, introducing him to new sound forms, and deepening his self-awareness.

It is often said that Free Finga’s music is best enjoyed in a car or a bedroom. At the same time, each of his live performances becomes an intimate and visually immersive musical encounter, enriching the experience of his recorded music.

“It has always been important for us to feature young artists on our stage, those who are becoming increasingly relevant. We are thrilled to have the brightest young performer in Lithuania right now at our tenth festival,” says festival director Valdas Petreikis.

Born and raised in Vilnius, Free Finga (real name: Tomas Narkevičius) blends elements of pop, hip-hop, and even choral music in his work. He began his career as a soloist in a children’s pop group and a boys’ choir, with which he toured the world, quickly discovering his voice. As a songwriter and producer, he has crafted a distinct and unique musical universe.

After years of experimentation and creative exploration, he released his debut album, Pick Up Line, in 2018, which was met with overwhelming enthusiasm. This was followed by his second album, DĖMESIO!, which achieved platinum status. In 2024, he released Plastika, an album reflecting R&B and soul influences, which became one of the most streamed albums in Lithuania.
